One week long experimental project supported by UAL Postgraduate Communty and Margate Resort Studiu. The aim is to explore how contemporary art, design practice and self initiated publications can change something ordinary into extraordinary and how this change often comes from within the community and the connections between people living in Margate.
During this project four cross-course participants from different UAL colleges will stay in Margate for five days. In this short week they will be ask to create an artist book or zine, that explores the idea of changing something ordinary into extraordinary.
During the process, they will take inspiration from Margate centre, it’s people and the surrounding. Also, they will be working and collaborating with local community.
