Before I began my MA Drawing at Wimbledon, I met up with a harp player and took a series of motion shot of her playing the harp. I then decided I wanted to tell a new story through the use of the strings on the harp, so began to make drawings of the hands.
Once I had made the drawings, I then cut out the hands and played around with the movements they were making against the strings, I then began to want to make the strings more hair-like, as if in fact the hands are playing hair, so there is a new bodily connection to the work.
