At the beginning of the term I wanted to start with the idea of using charcoal to help visualise the gravitational force around a simple shape imagining it as an object/pendulum.- See ‘foucaults pendulum’.
I played around with the shape and used the edges and natural symmetry of the paper to perceive how something changes as it moves, and how the laws of thermodynamics are at play at all times.
I think it would be useful to see many drawings of this shape becoming more and more distorted through to blurred abstractions between the shape and its motion.
