Artweeks exhibition and workshop

For Oxford’s artweeks during May, I exhibited a set of new silk screen prints. The series sets out to explore and identify the eco systems that inhabit the life of a woodland environment. The circle forms the basis of each design, it serves as representation of the cycle of life, the act of one affects the next part in sustaining the life of the woods.

As part of my show, I also did a set of screen printing workshops. This was a great way for me to engage with the public about my printing process and the ideas.

during the week of the exhibition the Sylva Wood Centre also had an education day for many forest schools to learn and participate in the show.
The children were inspired by my creatures and so much of their drawings reflected that! –

I’ve have been in conversation since this event with Sylva about working with them on producing educational workshop activities and a potential residency! Watch this space…
