As part of my daily routine in the studio, I practice ways of making marks and look to record these in a sequence large scale drawings. I have also been developing my ideas behind the heads themselves which originally came from a hairdressing poster i passed in the street a few months back on the way to an exhibition. Using a new variety of marks I having letting the heads communicate to one another through different aspects of their heads, such as the skull, or the mouth, or eyes/nose etc. This communication between the drawings is a new way of testing out how marks can carry a language of their own.

I am also considering making these into a book for my own use when embarking on making a drawing.
