My workshop plan – jezellaswalkshop1.docx
The walk shop began with each student choosing a package from a selection on the table.
I then asked the students to open the packages and complete the task that was asked of them inside.
Once the group returned I then asked to show and discuss what they had to do while they were outside. It seemed that everyone had enjoyed the tasks they had to perform and this added to the final impact of the large amp drawing they made shortly after.
I really love the documentation of the tasks, there is something quite strange and romantic in thinking about how we in the past have engaged with the outdoors, through painting, walking making a line, through to forming rituals around the idea of mapping ones movements through a space.
