The group got together with our current personal statements, swapping them over to read out each others statements. we then had to work out who the statement belonged to and if it accurately summed up the work of each student. Generally the group found that my statement was a too short and not wide ranging enough to encompass the breadth of my practice.
I made note of this and took my statement away to try to include more of the ideas within my current work.
I incorporated quotes that I feel situate my practice such as Haruki Murakami and Jorge Luis Borges.
